How To Remove Windows Family Safety

My Os: Windows x Pro x64

I am trying to run the setup for Historic period of Empires Gold Edition from my old CD merely whenever I endeavour to load the setup .exe a window pops up that says "Ask an adult for permission to run: Microsoft Historic period of Empires/Autorun"

How practise I completely disable this family feature? I don't demand it.

My business relationship is an Administrator and it is continued to a Microsoft Account which doesn't take whatever family settings turned on, yet information technology still happens.

I tried disabling the following scheduled tasks:

Task Scheduler Library \Microsoft\Windows\Crush\

FamilySafetyMonitor = Disabled

FamilySafetyRefresh = Disabled

I also tried ending WpcMon.exe process after and rebooting. It didn't work.

Ultimately I tried deleting "ParentalControls" binder from C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps and at present information technology shows this error:

Any tips? I don't even use Family unit Condom.

TheAOESETUP.exe file to install AoE is the merely executable in which this happens. At that place may exist more .exe files but so far this is the but i I ran that makes this prove up.

Have y'all tried installing in Safe Fashion?

Edit: If you enter Services is in that location a Windows Family Service? If there is disable information technology. It could be chosen Windows Live Family Safety.

There is no service for Parental Controls or Family Condom, and actually, extracting the files from the CD to a folder then trying to install from at that place works. But I can't become it to autorun.

Y'all mean you lot were able to install the plan. I am not certain what you mean by getting autorun to work. If installed tin can you lot create a shortcut to the launcher on the hard disk?

How-do-you-do

Offset of all, y'all'll take to be an Administrator, as it will require your Admin password more one time.
If y'all're younger than sixteen I would propose yous not to do this, I personally think your actions should exist monitored past your parents, but of form l can't control you.

1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32 You can copy/paste it into your file explorer.

two. Scroll down to Wpc and look for WpcMon.exe and WpcTok.exe. These are the files we'll be editing.

3. Right click on WpcMon.exe and go to the Backdrop. In there go to Security and click on Advanced

4. Where it says: Possessor: TrustedInstaller, click on change.

5. Where it says "enter the object name to select (examples)" enter your windows user name and click "check names" and press okay (if yous don't know your user name become to windows powershell and type, "$env:UserName" and it should tell you)

vi. Now on the screen before, click on Administrators, click on Edit and tick the box for Full Control, then click on Ok. This will allow you to edit the file anytime.

7. Now click on change, next to your proper name (same every bit before) and in the same place as before paste: NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller click on Bank check Names and click on Ok.

8. Now do the verbal same to WpcTok.exe every bit yous did in steps 3-vii to WpcMon.exe

9. When you lot've done this, you're set up to edit the files. All y'all have to practice is change the name of the file from the original to something else. (I inverse them from WpcMon.exe to notWpcMon.exe merely it doesn't really thing). I wouldn't delete them.

ten. Now you lot tin restart your computer and your computer should no longer exist monitored
two years late only works 100% of the fourth dimension.

If yous don't feel like deleting Microsoft Family unit and merely want to temporarily disable it, then I would suggest using "Win+R  / services.msc  / family features  /  properties /  start upwardly type:disabled". This way whenever yous feel like being a bad man, you lot tin can plough it off/on whenever. If you want to delete it completely, using I would advise downloading IOBit Unlocker 1.i, especially if you lot mess with system files a lot. With IOBit, but get to the exe files that DaMan234 mentioned, right click, open up with IObit, press the piffling triangle next to unlock, and select unlock and delete. and you are done.
